One late spring while preparing the family garden, we planted a variety of peppers that sparked the idea to start experimenting with them in the kitchen. Through trial and error of finding the perfect balance between flavor and heat, the constant demand for more hot sauce from family and friends had us thinking about the future, but something was lurking in the shadow of the garden....

Made in small batches by husband and wife, Michael and Erica, Jack’s Pepper Heist began its spicy journey when Jack (the family adorable-cuddly-loving-yet-devious Labrador) was caught stealing peppers from the family garden! Jack’s love of mischief and performing pepper heists mirrored our love for sauces with real ingredients. While Jack wanted to perform heists to become the ultimate pepper thief, we wanted to create cultural-flavor-forward sauces with a kick that would capture the curious and adventurous palates of food lovers and hot sauce enthusiasts alike.
